Wooden walls are cheap palisades for closing off a base. They are placed by dragging a line, which is split into short segments.
Placing walls
- Choose the wall in the build menu, then click and drag to lay out a line. The line is made of segments roughly 3 m apart, up to 64 segments in one drag.
- Each segment is priced on its own: 5 Wood, 200 hit points, 8 s to build.
- Segments that cannot be placed (for example, blocked by a building or a tree) are skipped and not charged. The game tells you which pieces were skipped.
- If you run out of Wood part-way along the line, the wall stops at the last segment you could pay for. You keep what was placed.
- A new wall can snap onto the end of one of your existing walls.
Gates
A wooden gate placed across a wall replaces the wall segments underneath it. The replaced segments are refunded in proportion to how intact they were.
